Ludham village surrounded on 3 sides by the rivers Ant, Bure and Thurne and it has its own small broad, Womack Water and is near to the beautiful How Hill estate and St Benets Abbey. Throwers have been serving Ludham and the surrounding villages since 1902 from our premises in the centre of Ludham near to the crossroads, where the Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Catfield roads meet close by the St Catherine’s church.
The Norfolk Broads are made up of a collection of around 40 inland water-filled broads where you can explore the
125 miles of rivers and waterways and enjoy the beautiful countryside and the varied wildlife and birds. The management
of the Broads is the responsibility of an organisation called the Broads Authority
